ADGER, AL – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the man killed in a fatal collision in Adger on Sunday, May 14th. The single-vehicle wreck happened before 5 a.m. on the 100 block of Hurd Shoals Road. Officials said the driver, 36-year-old Stephen Matthew Donaldson from Helena, lost control of his car and crashed down an embankment. It is unclear if fatigue or impairment played a role in the collision. More details will be posted as it becomes available.
