Narrative
PINSON, AL – Nine people, including eight children, sustained injuries Monday in a major accident involving a daycare van in Pinson.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bradford Road at Kermit Johnson Road, which is west of AL-79 and north of Johnson Elementary School.
Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the accident, and it’s still unclear if any other vehicles were involved.
The driver of the van became entrapped and required extrication.
All of the victims went to the hospital with minor injuries and have since been released.
A full investigation is underway.
