Narrative
IRONDALE, AL – A 74-year-old woman lost her life after she crashed her car head-on with another vehicle on the 7400 block of Crestwood Boulevard after 1 p.m. Tuesday. First responders rushed the woman — Anita Lovoy Ricketts of Birmingham — to UAB Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Birmingham Police have initiated an investigation and have not provided additional details.
