COVINGTON COUNTY, AL – A 28-year-old man lost his life after he crashed his 1992 GMC 1500 into a tree on Covington County 4 Saturday. 

This collision happened before 11 p.m. near the Alabama and Florida state lines. The driver, who was identified as Billy Fleming, was transported to Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. There, he passed away.
