Narrative

MUNFORD, AL – According to ABC 33/40 News, a female pedestrian was killed after being struck by a driver in Munford on Friday.

The crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. near mile marker 243 on Alabama Highway 21. Authorities say 46-year-old Kelly Hamlin was walking across AL-21 when she was hit by a driver of a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder.

Hamlin was killed in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene.
