Car accident kills teenage driver in Randolph County

RANDOLPH COUNTY, AL – A 17-year-old was killed after crashing into a tree on the side of the road yesterday, according to WBRC 6.

The driver swerved off of Randolph County Road 26 and hit a tree at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The crash fatally injured him and he died at the scene. The accident took place approximately six miles west of Roanoke.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown as the Highway Patrol Division’s investigation is ongoing.
