One killed after car crashes on Alabama 69

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL – An Oakman man was killed after his car lost control and crashed on Alabama 69, according to CBS 42.

The driver of a 2010 Toyota Tacoma was traveling on Alabama 69 near the 169-mile marker yesterday. For unknown reasons, his vehicle swerved off of the road and crashed into a nearby ditch.

The accident occurred about 14 miles north of Northport.

Emergency responders took the driver, a man from Oakman, to UAB Hospital. He later died from his injuries at the hospital.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently looking into the cause of the accident.
