NORTHPORT, AL – A two-vehicle accident on US-43 led to the death of a Northport woman and severely injured a teenage passenger on Sunday, according to CBS 42.
The driver of a 2007 Ford Mustang was traveling on US-43 near Flatwoods Road on Sunday night when she crashed into a 2005 GMC Sierra. The woman in the Ford was pronounced dead at the hospital, and the Sierra’s passenger has been hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries.
The Northport Police Department is investigating this case.
