SUMTER COUNTY, AL – A driver of a tractor-trailer died this morning after his vehicle flipped over on Highway 17, WTOK-TV reports.
At about 7:00 a.m. today, authorities responded to the scene of a crash on Alabama 17 near mile marker 164. A man driving a 1999 Freightliner tractor-trailer was ejected from his vehicle after it overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Highway Patrol Division with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently investigating this case.
