TUSCALOOSA CO., AL – A man was killed Wednesday afternoon when the pickup truck he was driving collided with a semi truck about a mile north of Tuscaloosa, CBS 42 reports.
The fatal collision happened on Crescent Ridge Road at about 4 p.m., when a Chevrolet S10 crashed head-on into a Western Star tractor-trailer. The Chevrolet subsequently rolled over and caught fire.
Emergency responders pronounced the Chevrolet’s driver dead at the scene. That person’s identity is being withheld pending an investigation by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
