COTTONDALE, AL – A 27-year-old man lost his life after he crashed his 1995 Ford F-150 pickup truck into a tree on Clements Road Saturday. 

This single-vehicle collision happened around 10:30 p.m. The driver — Reyes Lugo, a Cottondale resident — did not wear a seatbelt and succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
