Narrative

TALLADEGA, CO., AL – A two-vehicle accident occurred in Talladega County, Alabama on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of a woman. Investigators say Amber N. Marizette, a resident of Talladega, was traveling in a GMC Envoy that was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado. Marizette was taken to Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega for medical attention, but she succumbed to her injuries a short time latery. The GMC’s driver was also transported to Citizens Baptist Medical Center, while another passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt was transported to UAB Hospital.

The incident took place approximately five miles north of Talladega on Jackson Trace Road near Providence Road. No further information has been disclosed regarding the cause of the crash.
