Narrative

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL – Birmingham Total Traffic reports that a crash took place on Red Mountain Expressway SB in Mountain Brook on Thursday evening.

The crash was reported shortly before 7:00 p.m. near 21st Avenue South. Two southbound right lanes were blocked as a result of the accident, which caused stopped traffic conditions on the highway back to 2nd Avenue North.

The cause of the crash currently remains unknown.
