LOWNDES COUNTY, AL – A woman died from injuries she sustained in a two-vehicle accident this morning, according to Alabama News.
A woman in an SUV was driving along US-80 this morning when a tractor-trailer truck collided with her vehicle. The accident took place about 2 miles outside of Lowndesboro at around 7:35 a.m. today.
Emergency responders pronounced the woman deceased at the crash site.
It is unclear whether the accident caused any other injuries or damage. The Alabama State Troopers are currently looking into the cause of the wreck.
