CHILTON COUNTY, AL – An ALDOT employee was killed after being hit by a vehicle in a construction zone earlier today, WFSA 12 reports.
A technician working for ALDOT was in a work zone on Alabama 191 when a Chevrolet Traverse struck him at around 9:15 a.m. today. He was pronounced dead at a Clanton hospital. The incident took place near mile marker 11.
No further information was released by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
