Narrative

NEW MARKET, AL – A 61-year-old man lost his life, and a 45-year-old woman was transported via a helicopter to Huntsville Hospital after an SUV crash Sunday. 

This single-vehicle collision took place on Winchester Road, near the Tennessee and Alabama state line. The man, who was a passenger, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. 

He has been identified as Mickey J. Williams of Huntland, Tennessee. 

Williams was said to have not worn a seatbelt. 

The driver, who was identified as Elizabeth Armentrout, is currently recovering. Her current condition has not been confirmed.
