Narrative
LAWRENCE COUNTY, FL – Two men were injured, and another man’s life was claimed in a head-on crash between a 2014 Ford Focus and a 2004 GMC Yukon on Alabama 157 eight miles north of Moulton around midnight Sunday. The driver of the Yukon – 33-year-old Hugo Armando-Roman Ortiz, of Decatur, and his passenger – 22-year-old Jose-Portillo Mariano, 22, of Decatur – were hospitalized for their injuries, while the Ford Focus driver – 48-year-old Kendall Lee Dean – suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Dean did not wear his seatbelt at the time of the collision.
