MARSHALL COUNTY, AL – A car wreck near Albertville claimed the life of a woman yesterday, according to the Gadsden Times.
A woman was traveling in a 2010 Ford Edge when the vehicle swerved off of the Alabama 75 roadway and crashed.
State Troopers report that the wreck took place at around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, near Piney Grove Road.
Emergency responders pronounced the woman, a 50-year-old from Scottsboro, deceased at the crash site.
It’s unclear what caused the vehicle to crash. The Alabama State Troopers are currently looking into the circumstances of the accident.
