Man driving pickup truck killed in Albertville wreck

ALBERTVILLE, AL – A two-vehicle wreck claimed the life of a man from Crossville on Saturday, according to Sand Mountain Reporter.

The man was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram on Alabama 75 when he collided with a 2006 Ford Escape for unknown reasons. Alabama State Troopers report that the man was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash which caused him to be ejected from his pickup truck.

The accident took place at about 5:30 p.m., near Gray Road. The pickup truck’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the Ford Escape did not sustain any injuries.

Details about the circumstances of the accident are not are yet to be released as the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency continues to investigate.
