HUNTSVILLE, AL – Multiple vehicles that were traveling on Highway 431 collided and injured at least two earlier this week, WAFF 48 reports.
The collision occurred between the highway’s intersections with Monte Sano Boulevard and Dug Hill Road on Monday. A spokesperson with the Huntsville Emergency Medical Services reports that the crash involved a total number of four to six people.
Authorities informed the public to expect the traffic in surrounding areas to be impeded for an hour or more.
The accident caused at least two people to sustain life-threatening injuries.
It is unknown what caused this accident to occur. The Huntsville Police Department is currently looking into the circumstances of the crash.
