CULLMAN COUNTY, AL – Two people were pronounced dead after a car accident on U.S. 278 in East Point early Friday morning, according to AL.com.
Emergency responders were called to a scene of an accident on U.S. 278 at 5:35 a.m. Two cars had collided, killing both occupants, one of whom was an Alabama councilman. The wreck occurred close to the intersection of U.S. 278 and Alabama 69.
