BIRMINGHAM, AL – A driver was fatally injured yesterday morning after her car crashed on the side of the road, according to WBRC 6.
A woman was traveling on Parkway East towards Roebuck Parkway when her vehicle swerved off of the road for unknown reasons. It crashed into a nearby tree, then a utility pole. She died from her injuries at the scene of the accident.
Several lanes of the road were shut down as local crews worked to clear the crash.
Authorities responded to the accident in the 9300 block of the road.
