Two passengers hurt in Shelby County accident

COLUMBIANA, AL – EMS rescued two people who were stuck inside a vehicle after a crash today, according to WBRC 6.

An SUV was driving along Joiner Town Road when it was involved in the crash. Deputies with Shelby County reported that the vehicle was crushed by a tree limb.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday. Two passengers of the SUV had to be extricated from the vehicle. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
