WALKER COUNTY, AL – A crash led to the death of a woman and injured a passenger near Parrish, according to WBRC 6.
A driver was traveling on Alabama 269 on Friday when she struck another vehicle from behind.
The accident took place near Short Loop Road at about 5:12 p.m.
The woman, a 20-year-old from Quinton, died at the scene of the crash. The passenger of the victim’s vehicle was hospitalized for their injuries.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that the woman had not been wearing seat belt restraints at the time of the accident.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol is currently looking into the crash.
