JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL – An accident involving three vehicles caused major traffic delays and injured at least one near Gardendale, WBRC 6 reports.
Three vehicles that were traveling south on I-65 crashed yesterday. The wreck took place past the highway’s exit towards Fieldstown road, at the 270-mile marker.
An occupant of one of the vehicles, a UAB policeman, sustained injuries after the accident. It’s unclear if any others were hurt.
The highway was shut down in all lanes but was reopened as of 8 p.m. Tuesday.
