HOOVER, AL – Two people were hospitalized today after a dump truck overturned and struck another vehicle on I-459, according to CBS 42.
The driver of the dump truck was traveling north on the highway near Acton Road when the vehicle crashed. The collision caused the dump truck to leak chemicals onto the roadway.
The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. today.
Both drivers of the vehicles involved were injured, according to the Rocky Ridge Fire Department. It is unclear whether they are in stable condition.
