VINCENT, AL – According to CBS42 News, a crash involving a school bus for special needs students took place in Shelby County on Friday.
Authorities say the crash took place on Highway 231 and that seven students from Vincent Elementary School were onboard the bus at the time of the incident.
One person who was not a student nor the bus driver sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Brookwood Hospital for treatment. No other significant injuries have been reported at this time.
Police continue to investigate the cause of this crash. We will update this post as further details become available.
