JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL – ABC3340 News reports that a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield left one man dead and another person seriously injured on Tuesday night.
Officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office say the crash took place around 6:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of Valley Road. One driver, 69-year-old Larry Johnson, was killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver involved sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No other details are available at this time. Police continue to investigate this incident.
