BIRMINGHAM, AL – According to CBS42 News, a two-vehicle crash in Birmingham left one woman dead on Saturday.
Authorities say the crash took place shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at the intersection of 8th Street South and 6th Avenue South. The cause of the crash is currently unknown, however, a 38-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in the collision.
The injured woman was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment where she later died.
Birmingham Police continue to investigate this incident.
