PINSON, AL – Authorities responded to a crash on Alabama Highway 79 that killed one passenger over the weekend, according to Trussville Tribune.
There was a two-car crash reported in the 9200 block of Alabama 79 on Friday evening. One of the occupants of a vehicle suffered severe injuries.
The wreck took place at approximately 6:50 p.m. Friday.
The passenger was transported by airlift to the UAB Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital two days after the crash.
Additional information about the accident is not yet available. The Sheriff’s Office of Jefferson County is looking into the case.
