WALKER COUNTY, AL – A single-car accident fatally injured a man Friday night after his vehicle veered into a nearby ravine near Carbon Hill, according to WVTM 13.
The driver of a Hyundai Sonata was on Alabama Highway 118 at 8:45 p.m. Friday when his vehicle departed the road and struck a tree in an adjacent ditch. The Hyundai driver died at the crash scene, which was about six miles east of Carbon Hill.
The case is being investigated by the Alabama State Troopers. No other information is available at this time.
