BIRMINGHAM, AL – There were major traffic slowdowns on I-59 today after a collision that trapped a passenger inside a car, according to ABC 3340.
At about 4:00 p.m. today, emergency responders were called to remove a person who had been trapped in a vehicle after an accident on I-59. The wreck caused closures of lanes heading north. The accident took place at Exit 132 to US 11 Highway.
