HOOVER, AL – According to ABC3340, one man was struck and killed by a vehicle while standing near his car on Interstate 459 on Saturday.
29-year-old Khari Jamal Walker, of Moody, was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes of I-459 around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. Following the crash, Walker’s vehicle was disabled in the travel lane. While standing near his vehicle, Walker was struck and killed by another vehicle.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
