BEULAH, AL – A boat accident on Lake Harding claimed the life of one man yesterday, WVTM 13 reports.
The driver of an aluminum jon boat was traveling eastward on Lake Harding at around 6:28 a.m. when he struck a large bass boat. The Lee County coroner stated that the impact of the wreck fatally injured the aluminum boat driver. Other occupants of both the bass and aluminum jon boat were unharmed.
Further details about the cause of the accident are unavailable as the Marine Patrol division from ALEA continues to investigate.
