Narrative

NEAR AUBURN, AL – A 33-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man lost their lives in a head-on collision before 7:30 p.m. Monday on U.S. 80 near Auburn. Alabama State troopers said the 56-year-old man — Larry Johnson from Hurtsboro — had, for reasons unclear,, crashed his 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck head-on into a 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA driven by Santoyas D. Jackson from Columbus. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
